We appreciate your visiting us. It seems we all have places, people, experiences, and memories that bring a smile to our hearts, minds, and faces. For me, the mention of Bimini brings a smile to my whole being. A small group of islands in the Bahamas just across the Gulf Stream from the southeastern coast of Florida, Bimini puts a spell on you from your very first visit. It's a feeling that never leaves.

Bimini's beauty, adventure, hospitality, and history create a flood of emotions that keep your memories bright and clear and keep you wanting to come back for more. You can imagine Ponce de Leon searching the mangroves for his precious Fountain of Youth or picture the legendary city of Atlantis thriving thousands of years earlier. You feel the power of that giant marlin Hemingway worked so hard to catch as the line sings and the rod bends, straining every muscle you have. You even wonder if you'll experience something supernatural right there in the heart of the infamous Bermuda Triangle.

I love the mystery all of these stories bring to mind. It's like living in the heart of a great adventure novel, where anything is possible. But Bimini is real, a place where some of my best memories are of real people, real food and real hospitality. Living in such a small, intimate place, the people of Bimini know how to get along with each other and how to have a good time.

Bimini is great music, great food, great drink and unique places run by warm, hospitable people. I can still picture myself inside the Compleat Angler with my future wife Leslie (we had our first date in Bimini), Captain Leon, my buddies and owner Ozzie Brown. We spent our time telling fishing stories, talking about how much we enjoyed our conch chowder and bimini bread earlier, enjoying a Goombay Smash and whupping somebody on one of Ozzie’s Bimini Ring Games or taking part in a rousing crab race. Absolute heaven! As a young Miami Dolphin player who took every opportunity to hop the stream and visit my buddies in Bimini, I had no idea how lucky I was.

All of those great memories led me to create Bimini Bob’s for your enjoyment. Our team of head goomba Nick Dimario, GM Dwight Hambrick, chef extrordinaire Steve Zucker, Mr. Hospitality Kent Lynam and soon to be chef extrordinaire Johnny Armstrong have put together a menu and experience that will help you create your happy Bimini memories for you, your family and your friends.
